Yorkshire Artist- Online Workshop

Come and join in! Grab a cup of tea and a slice of cake and release some creativity with me! 

This event is on Mother's Day. However, it isn't Mother's Day related. I thought it might be nice to have the option for those who celebrate Mother's Day. 

Workshops are suitable for all, from beginners to beyond! I will guide you every step of the way while giving you the freedom to explore. I feel it's important to give budding artists ownership in their work so please think of this as a workshop – not a lesson! The topic is 'Landscapes'. I will explain how I approach landscapes.The workshop will be an hour or two of creativity and companionship, allowing you to create unique artwork for yourself or loved ones.

You will create 2 or more pieces of artwork in the workshop.

I’m really looking forward to bringing my art workshop online, combining all the fun of my previous evening classes with the skills I’ve gained from online teaching secondary school art this year!

You will need to gather some equipment before the session.

Equipment List-

3 or more colouring pencils

3 sheets of A5 paper Mixed Media Paper 

2 sheets of plain A4 paper (to test ideas)

1 Black Fine Liner Pen

1 pencil

1 rubber

1 sharpener

2 photographs of landscapes- I would recommend printing them out but no worries if not

Please know that your equipment doesn't need to be 'top of the range'. I have attached some affordable recommendations below.

At the start of the session you will need snacks, good lighting and enthusiasm!
